What's notable

Emaar has confirmed five character zones — a business hub, an urban district, a young-families cluster, a family-living zone, and a gated villa enclave of 5- and 6-bedroom residences and mansions — built around swimmable community lagoons, lakes and linear gardens, with proposed metro connectivity and a "20-minute city" planning framework where daily needs sit within walking distance. Chairman Mohamed Alabbar called it "a city within a city." What is confirmed is the scale; what is open is everything about timing. A masterplan this size takes years to become actual, deliverable supply — in the near term it is a sentiment and land-value event around it, not a supply event.

What to check before buying

  • Nothing is sellable yet — there is no confirmed location, unit count, or launch date to act on.
  • Treat population and floor-area figures as firm; treat every timing detail as provisional until Emaar names them.
  • Land and resale prices in areas presumed to be near the site may move on speculation well before any official location is confirmed — that speculation is not evidence.
